Exam season is upon us. And in the spirit of keeping the books firmly closed for another few days we took our lovely visitor Amy to a very empty and a very misty Venice. Which felt like a bit of a ghost town. In the summertime Venice belongs to the tourist, but during the off-season (November til Easter) the vicoli seem to empty themselves of tourists and the Venetians reclaim their home. We didn't get the memo and decided to impose...
